Medical Supply TechnicianTHE WHATWe are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with an affinity for providing quality service to members of the community who need assistance with enhancing their independence and quality of life. This position is full-time and primarily serves older adults who reside in their own homes or in assisted living facilities throughout Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley. Our customers have a variety of health conditions and abilities, so prompt and compassionate service is required in order to provide the level of service they deserve and have come to expect with Triton. No experience is required; our team will provide training on how to effectively and efficiently manage, deliver and assemble medical equipment and soft goods. Determine or obtain best daily routeAssemble and deliver all needed equipment; educate patient and family on how to properly use equipmentEnsure stock levels are appropriate and warehouse and delivery vehicles are organized and cleanWork with patients/clients to solve a variety of problemsComplete delivery and pickup process promptly and accuratelyAssist in cleaning, disinfecting, and with minor repair of equipmentMaintain a neat, clean personal appearanceAccept on-call responsibilities on a predetermined, rotating basis during evenings and weekendsDemonstrate timeliness, sincerity and patience when working with clientsAccept other duties and activities as assignedSkills and Qualifications - we know you have them! Requires considerable physical effort most of the day including lifting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, climbing, walking, exposure to temperature and humidity changes. Ability to lift/transfer items up to 75 pounds. Must possess sight/hearing senses or use appropriate adaptive devices that will enable senses to function at a level required to meet essential duties of this position.Working Environment - there will be snacks! Travel to/from customer residences is required, with additional time in a warehouse setting.
