We're looking to build out our team with a Mid to Senior Level UX / UI Designer at Card79. The person we're hiring for this position on the team should exhibit a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and strategic acumen. The candidate should be adept at crafting solutions that resonate with a diverse audience, while maintaining a disciplined approach to project execution. Key contributions in this role include : UX Strategy to Design : Thinking about a digital product's design not only at the level of meticulous execution but also a solid strategic lens to the work. Understanding best in class UX patterns and a willingness and openness to venture into the next new interaction paradigm. Digital Product Design Evangelist : Know the best practices for digital product across everything from UX strategy to design systems even if it's not something you execute on regularly. Drive for continuous improvement when it comes to UX / UI quality of work, ability to execute, and willingness to put ourselves into uncomfortable and new product spaces. Collaboration & Leadership : Collaborate with a team of agency side designers and client side designers, product managers, engineers and other stakeholders allowing diverse perspective to come to the table. If you have more years of experience, we would appreciate a mature coaching to junior designers Client Acquisition & Retention : Assist in securing large-scale projects by showcasing culturally aware design capabilities. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their contentment with the agency’s culturally attuned work. Feedback & Improvement : Actively engage in giving and receiving feedback to continue enhancing design processes, ensuring they are inclusive and globally oriented. This role is suited for a proactive, ambitious designer eager to impact a dynamic agency environment. A strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of UX / UI design skills with an emphasis on visual sensitivity, strategic thinking and a diverse cultural outlook. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or equivalent 2 - 5 years experience in digital product design, UX / UI or related field Experience / track record developing and shipping digital products Strong creative, design and communication skills Portfolio of work that reflects all of that. You NEED to be based in San Francisco and able to come into the office in person Salary : This is a full time position. Compensation is between $80k - $110k depending on experience and skills.
