Job Description

Major national sports entertainment and streaming brand is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to join their team for 12 month contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and extensive streaming / TV / entertainment experience.

• Rate: $32/hr

Responsibilities:

• Design and animate motion graphics for live events, studio shows, original content, and streaming platforms for a major sports entertainment brand.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) to create compelling designs for television graphics, key art, branding, social templates, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with creative and editorial partners to elevate storytelling through visual design.
• Translate assignment briefs and creative direction into custom graphical layouts while maintaining brand standards.
• Manage multiple daily assignments, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Contribute innovative design solutions that enhance creative excellence and support team workflows.
• Stay updated on design trends, particularly within the streaming and entertainment industries, to inform and elevate projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to software or work environment as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong skills in typography, composition, and design hierarchy.
• Proven project management abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Online portfolio/demo reel showcasing creativity, type layout skills, and motion graphics expertise.
• Reliable work-from-home setup with a dependable internet connection.
• Experience with Cinema4D and Adobe After Effects.
• Familiarity with design requirements for streaming platforms.
• Passion for sports and an understanding of sports programming.
