Today we are hiring a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist for our client in Philadelphia, PA.We are in the process of building a comprehensive cardiac program that includes both cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology. Currently, the team comprises one cardiac surgeon, one interventional cardiologist, one electrophysiologist, and one cardiac anesthesiologist. As the program grows, we plan to expand the anesthesia team to (2) two full-time anesthesiologists, with additional growth anticipated as we add more surgeons and interventional cardiologists.
At this stage, the second anesthesiologist will be involved in cardiac cases and general anesthesia cases alongside 11 other anesthesiologists. There will be no in-house overnight call; instead, calls will be taken from home and shared among the anesthesia group, including two part-time, as-needed cardiac anesthesiologists.

Qualifications:
We seek a cardiac anesthesiologist with at least three to four years of experience working in a well-established pediatric cardiac program. The ideal candidate must have completed a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship and additional training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia, preferably including a dedicated one-year pediatric cardiac anesthesia fellowship. Board certification or board eligibility in pediatric anesthesiology is required.
We are steadily building toward a fully staffed and robust cardiac service.
