Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator – Onsite (Hudson Valley, NY)

A leading liberal arts college in Hudson Valley, NY is seeking a Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join a dynamic Human Resources team in the Hudson Valley (Annandale-on-Hudson area, Dutchess County, NY). This role will play a key part in supporting the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and hiring through onboarding and orientation — while also contributing to day-to-day HR operations.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with hiring managers to prepare job descriptions and craft effective job postings.
• Manage applicant tracking, job boards, and posting logistics.
• Coordinate communications with hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support HR policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth experience for employees.
• Provide administrative support across HR functions.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in a Human Resources environment.
• At least 1 year of recruiting or recruiting coordination experience (scheduling/interview logistics ideal).
• Experience supporting onboarding and/or benefits administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with discretion on confidential matters.
