We’re currently partnering with an exceptional school district in Muskegon County, MI, to hire a full-time School Social Worker for the 2025–2026 school year.

This in-person role will provide support to students from Pre-K through 4th grade by providing social-emotional and behavioral support, developing IEP-aligned services, and collaborating with educators and families to foster student success.

Position Details:

• Position: School Social Worker
• Location: Muskegon County, MI (in-person only; hybrid/remote options not available)
• Start Date: September 2025
• End Date: May 2026
• Hours per week: 32 hours/week, Monday – Friday
• Grade Level: Pre-K through 4th grade, 30 students

Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students in classroom and small-group settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP-related social work services to address student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support academic, behavioral, and social success.
• Conduct student assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide interventions.
• Support crisis intervention, case management, and connection to community resources as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Valid School Social Work certification from the Michigan Department of Education.
• Experience working with students of all ages in an academic setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
