SUMMARY OF CLIENT QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Associate degree in speech-language pathology or a related field.
* Specific coursework in communication disorders preferred.
* SLPAs must work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
* Strong communication skills, an understanding of speech and language disorders, and the ability to follow treatment plans are essential.
