Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with outpatient and pediatric experience for a day shift position in Michigan requiring an active MI license and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an outpatient setting with some acute care responsibilities
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, four 10-hour days
• One Saturday shift required per month
• No on-call duties
• Primarily serves outpatient and pediatric patient populations
• Delegates tasks to Occupational Therapist Assistants and Aides in accordance with standards
• Evaluates patient function and develops goal-specific treatment plans using assessment data
• Submits and updates written treatment plans as part of care coordination with physicians
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers on treatment, prognosis, and care options
• Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants, Home Health Aides, and students as needed
• Must not live within 50 miles of the facility due to radius restrictions
• Time-off requests must be made before offer; only up to 5 days can be requested

• Active Michigan OT license required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience in outpatient and acute care settings required
• Pediatric occupational therapy experience required
• Recent Epic experience preferred
