**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dynamic Insurance Transportation Underwriter with a strong focus on business development. The ideal candidate will combine deep industry knowledge with a proactive approach to generating new business opportunities and building strong client relationships.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Underwrite transportation insurance policies with a focus on risk assessment, pricing, and coverage terms.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to attract new clients and expand existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and clients.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities and optimize our product offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless policy issuance and client satisfaction.
- Provide expert guidance and support on complex underwriting issues and emerging risks.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation underwriting, with a strong emphasis on business development.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation insurance products, risk assessment, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of successful business development and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
