Contract Senior UX Writer

Duration: 3 months

Pay: $67/hr

Onsite in Seattle

I am working with a large e-commerce tech company and we are looking to hire Contract UX Writer to help client deliver innovative products. They are looking for a strong UX writing background, aren’t afraid to dive deep and learn about devices, and care about even the smallest detail. You have the ability to breakdown complex user instructions into concise customer-friendly documentation.

Day to Day Rhythm:

• Will work 3-7 projects any given day
• Interacts with teams such as Legal, PMs, DPMs, provides content for new features, settings, and customer content that is both informative and educational.
• Ensuring accessibility is considered with respect to content.
• Localization (Character Count)
• Informing Interaction design
• Craft content for settings, features, and error message)
• Respond to Intake tickets
• Adhere to patterns for a consistent experience (design/style guide)
• Tools: MS word, Confluence, Google docs, Quip, Figma

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of UX writing
• 3+ years of UX writing from a devices background
• 5+ years with Localization (Character Count)
• 5+ years Informing Interaction design
