About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deposit Product Risk Manager Vice President to join its Risk Management and Compliance division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding product and capabilities teams with a robust risk management perspective, particularly in the context of business banking deposit products. This includes the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with new initiatives, as well as the responsibility to escalate critical issues to senior risk management when necessary. The role demands a professional with a comprehensive understanding of business banking deposit products and services, who can serve as a trusted advisor to product development teams, and who is adept at evaluating and ensuring that all risks are appropriately controlled. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a risk or oversight function related to deposit products, digital/mobile banking, payments, or other emerging banking technologies. Proficiency in data analysis, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively are essential. The role requires a candidate with a team-oriented mindset, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence, as well as the capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, confident, and possess a deep understanding of key regulatory considerations, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
