Job Description:
We are seeking an Apprentice Project Manager to assist in overseeing steel construction projects from start to finish. Ideally this role for the right fit will transition out of the apprentice role and into a Project Manager position as growth allows.
Duties:
-Report directly to the Senior Project Manager
-Work closely with Project Management Staff and detailers to coordinate drawings for approval and/ or field use.
-Follow Steffy guidelines for internal processing of paperwork for each project.
-Preform any other functions required to assure customer satisfaction and corporate profitability.
- Attend in-house scheduling meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fully understand structural steel erecting and welding process, symbols, etc.
- Understand blueprints
- Experience with Auto CAD preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective team collaboration
- Computer efficient
