We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician to join our (Electrical) team within the, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our renewable energy projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems in renewable energy projects.
• Create and complete work tickets.
• Responsible for assigned operations and maintenance activities associated with the utility scale PV projects.
• Respond to emergency outages that require facility and generator restorations.
• Monitor and report on the performance of systems, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Proven experience as a technician, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Work Location, Remote Work, and Travel:

• This position will be based in the Arlington, VA. Travel may be required throughout Virginia and the mid-Atlantic region up to 25% of time
